Royal Enfield Classic 350 FAQs
What are the common problems in the Royal Enfield Classic 350?
While the J-series engine is highly reliable, some users report a heavy clutch feel in stop-and-go traffic and rusting on chrome parts if not maintained properly during monsoons. Additionally, at speeds above 110 kmph, the engine can feel strained.
Is Classic 350 good for long-distance touring?
Yes. Its upright seating posture and torquey engine make it excellent for long rides. However, many tourers recommend adding a windshield and touring seats from the official accessory catalog for better wind protection and comfort.
Does the 2026 Classic 350 have alloy wheels?
Alloy wheels with tubeless tires are standard only on the Dark Series (Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey). Other variants come with traditional spoke wheels and tube-type tires to maintain the vintage look.19
Which is better: Classic 350 or Honda CB350 H'ness?
The Classic 350 offers better metal build quality, a larger service network, and a higher resale value. The Honda CB350 provides a lighter clutch (slipper clutch), more features like traction control, and a slightly smoother engine.20
Is the Classic 350 suitable for short riders?
With a seat height of 805mm, riders above 5'5" can usually plant both feet comfortably.21 Riders shorter than that may find it slightly heavy to maneuver in tight parking spots due to its 195 kg weight.22+1
What is the waiting period for Classic 350 in 2026?

I primarily bought this bike for daily use, with occasional highway rides. First of all, I really like its look and compact design—it’s easy to maneuver in traffic, and the handling feels light. The engine is smooth, making city riding hassle-free, and the low-end torque is very useful. On the highway, it can comfortably cruise at 80–90 kmph with minimal vibrations. Mileage in the city is around 35–38 kmpl, which is reasonable for this segment. The suspension is comfortable on normal roads, though it feels slightly stiff over large potholes. Service experience so far has been positive, with reasonable costs. Overall, this bike is a great choice for those looking for a stylish, reliable, and daily-friendly ride.By: SUDHAAR KUMAR (Jan 1, 2026)

Classic 350: A Perfect Blend of Heritage & Power
This motorcycle blends heritage with modern refinement and offers remarkably balanced, linear performance with reduced vibrations. It is comfortable for cruising at around 90 km/h, and the mileage is excellent. However, navigation is missing in some models, including the Bronze Medallion variant, which was disappointing. I also expected alloy wheels, but this model does not come with them as standard. I hope to see navigation support and more vibrant color options in future versions.By: Sivaram S (Dec 8, 2025)

Needs more punch in the mid-range
My main problem is the heavy clutch. My hand gets tired quickly in stop-and-go traffic. Also, the weight makes it difficult to move around in parking lots. Smooth engine on the highway. The aesthetics are great, but the practicality in the city is low. (230 characters)By: Sunita Pal (Nov 26, 2025)
