The bike looks beautiful but feels dated in terms of features. No mobile connectivity or navigation as standard. Comfort is 10/10 but technology is 5/10.
Driving in tight traffic is a struggle due to weight. But on open roads, it is a beast. Paint quality is top notch. Wish it had tubeless tires for peace of mind.
Love the ride but service center bills are high. Spare parts take time to arrive. If you want a simple bike with no drama, this is it. Very comfortable for pillion.
The engine is very smooth but the old heavy crank thump is missing. It feels like a modern bike now. Safety is good with ABS. Mileage is around 35 in city.
My wife finds the rear seat very comfortable. Ground clearance is enough for big speed breakers. The torque helps in carrying heavy loads easily. Good for tours.

I travelled from Jaipur to Rishikesh, Tungnath, Badrinath, Sonprayag, Haridwar, and back to Jaipur on my Jawa 42 Dual Channel ABS 2.1. The total journey was approximately 2,000 km, completed in just 4–5 days. The Jawa 42 is an excellent bike for long rides—very comfortable for solo touring and smooth even on tough roads. The bike is still in great condition after the trip, and I didn’t face any issues or extra expenses. It gave an impressive mileage of around 35 km/l throughout the journey.
