The much-awaited CB650R naked was launched in India in March last year via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route.

Honda CB650R Features:

Its styling is a combination of old and modern design and is similar to CB300R and CB1000R. The ‘retro neo sports cafe design’ makes the bike very muscular and good-looking. There is a circular headlamp, neutral handlebars, full-digital instrument cluster and full-LED illumination. Some highlighting features are: 1. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a traction control system which optimises torque generated at the rear wheel and lowers wheel-slip 2. Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) that switches on the front and rear hazard lights when sudden braking is applied. Digital odometer, tachometer and speedometer, mobile app connectivity, GPS & navigation, low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, and clock are some other features of the bike. Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red are the two colours that are on offer.

Honda CB650R Performance:

The 649-cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine produces maximum power of 85.82 bhp at 12,000 rpm and peak torque of 57.5 Nm at 8,500 rpm. It has a six-speed manual transmission supported by multiplate wet clutch. While the front suspension is telescopic, the one at the rear is monoshock. For the braking, there is dual-channel ABS installed in the bike. The bike is equipped with floating dual discs at the front and a single disc at the back. The estimated top speed of the bike is 220 kmph. A fuel efficiency in the range of 20-25 kmpl can be expected with this bike.

Honda CB650R Capacity:

With a kerb weight of 206 kg, the bike offers ergonomics that enhance the biking experience. It can store 15.4 litres of petrol.
