Designed for young urban riders, the bike carries over key brand values from both the Hornet and CB series, blending sharp styling with advanced features. Bookings for the motorcycle commenced on August 1, 2025, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from mid-August. With this new model, Honda aims to further expand its already strong footprint in the 125 cc segment, where it claims a 45 per cent market share.

The CB125 Hornet is powered by a 123.94cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is OBD2B-compliant. This motor produces 11 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds, positioning it among the quickest in its segment.

On the feature front, the Hornet stands out with a 4.2-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. This allows access to navigation, call and message alerts, and music playback using a connected headset. Riders can control the interface via switches mounted on the left handlebar. The TFT unit is complemented by an all-LED lighting system including a signature twin LED headlamp, LED DRLs, high-mounted LED indicators, and an LED tail lamp.

Additional equipment includes a universal USB Type-C charger, engine kill switch, side-stand engine cut-off, and a split seat for improved rider and pillion comfort. The CB125 Hornet is also the only motorcycle in its class to feature 37 mm upside-down front forks paired with a 5-step preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by a 240 mm petal disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear, with single-channel ABS offered as standard.
