Hero Xtreme 200S remains one of the most popular bikes in the 200-cc segment. Hero MotoCorp launched the BS6-compliant engine in November 2020.

There is only one variant with Xtreme 200S: self-start ABS disc brake alloy wheel, which is priced at Rs 130,614 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hero Xtreme 200S Features:

The full-faired sports bike has done all the right things in terms of styling and designing. The look has been borrowed from the Xtreme 200R with side panels, the fuel tank and the tail also originally belonging to the sister bike. It comes with a new LED-headlamp. One get reminded of the very popular and older sibling Karizma ZMR while looking at Xtreme 200S. The instrument cluster is digital with a host of features like odometer, speedometer, tachometer distance-to-empty indicator, engine kill switch, and fuel level gauge. Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation are also present. Both the options of self-start and kick are available. The bike offers neutral handlebars and footpegs which will bring comfort during long rides.

Hero Xtreme 200S Performance:

The 199.6-cc fuel-injected engine is oil cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC. It can produce a maximum power of 13.3 kw at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 16.45 Nm at 6,500 rpm. There is a five-speed constant mesh transmission on offer. While, the frontal suspension is telescopic front forks with anti-friction bush, the rear one is rectangular swingarm with mono shock. The braking arrangement is single-channel ABS (anti-braking system). It offers a top speed of around 115-125 kmph. The fuel efficiency is 40 and 38.9 kmph, as reported by owners and ARAI respectively, which is impressive in the high-displacement segment.

Hero Xtreme 200S comes in a single seat and has a kerb weight of 154.5 kg. The storage for fuel is 12.8 litres.

It competes with Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Suzuki Gixxer SF and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V in the segment.
