The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is an upcoming motorcycle expected to launch in India in September 2025 with an expected price range of ₹2,00,000 to ₹2,20,000. This will be a quarter-litre sportbike from Hero MotoCorp, based on the Hero 2.5R Xtunt Concept. According to its design patents, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 will have an all new design and improved bodywork compared to the Karizma XMR 210. In fact, the front fender, fuel tank, and tail section will be identical to those in the concept. However, the headlamp assembly and several cycle parts are expected to remain identical to those on the Karizma XMR 210.
The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is expected to be priced within ₹2,00,000 to ₹2,20,000.
The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is expected to be launched in India sometime in September 2025.
The Karizma XMR 250 will be powered by a 250cc liquid-cooled engine, as seen on the 2.5R Xtunt Concept and the recently launched Xtreme 250R. It produces a peak power of 29.5 bhp at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine is combined with a six-speed transmission and a slipper clutch.
Hero says that the Xtreme 250R can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 3.25 seconds. Meanwhile, the engine will be housed within a tubular trellis frame, supported by upside-down front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The 17-inch wheels, tires, and brakes are likely to be similar to those on the XMR 210.
