This sports commuter motorcycle has garnered attention for its blend of performance, modern aesthetics, and affordability, making it an excellent choice for first-time motorcycle buyers and young enthusiasts alike. The Pulsar N125 promises to deliver a thrilling ride while addressing the needs of urban commuters. Key highlights include its cutting-edge design, advanced fuel efficiency, and a suite of tech features catering to the modern rider.

    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Price

The pricing for the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is highly competitive, with the base variant, LED Disc, priced at 93,158 (ex-showroom), while the top-tier variant, LED Disc BT, retails for 98,355 (ex-showroom). This pricing strategy aims to attract budget-conscious riders without compromising on the features and performance that the Pulsar brand is well-known for.

    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launch Date

The much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar N125 was officially unveiled in October 2024, marking a significant moment for motorcycle enthusiasts. Launched in 2024, the Pulsar N125 is well-poised to take on rivals in the 125 cc segment, such as the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R. The motorcycle is positioned as the most affordable model in Bajaj’s new-generation Pulsar series, showcasing an appealing combination of modern features and traditional performance.

    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Variants

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is available in two noteworthy variants: the LED Disc and LED Disc BT. The base LED Disc variant comes equipped with a traditional kick and self-starter, offering a straightforward, reliable riding experience. It features a compact LCD instrument cluster that provides essential readouts like speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge. The top-spec LED Disc BT variant justifies its 5,197 premium with advanced features, including an all-digital instrument console equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. This model allows for call and SMS notifications, making it ideal for riders who are always on the go. The added Integrated Starter Generator also aids in silent engine starts. Both variants sport a robust braking setup, consisting of a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake, while the overall design exudes a sporty vibe.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Design and Exterior

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125 showcases a bold and modern design, drawing influences from its larger siblings in the Pulsar family while establishing its unique identity. The striking LED headlamps and muscular fuel tank contribute to an aggressive stance on the road. The fuel tank features sculpted shrouds that enhance the motorcycle's visual appeal, while the split-seat design adds to its sporty character. Bajaj has paid meticulous attention to detail, evident in features such as the one-piece grab rail and meticulously shaped tail section. The Pulsar N125 is available in seven vibrant colour options, including the bold Purple Fury, making it an attractive choice for today's youth.

    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Interior

Upon sitting on the Pulsar N125, riders will appreciate the neutral ergonomics designed to accommodate a wide range of riders. The seat height measures 795 mm, combined with a ground clearance of 198 mm, ensuring a balanced riding posture. The seat itself offers commendable cushioning for comfortable rides, whether for short trips or longer commutes. Despite being targeted towards younger riders, the cabin layout is functional and straightforward, featuring a visually appealing digital console that is easily readable in direct sunlight. However, it is worth noting that the LED Disc BT version could have benefited from a tachometer, especially considering its sporty positioning in the market.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Engine and Specifications

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is powered by the same 124.58 cc single-cylinder engine that underpinned the Pulsar 125. This air-cooled unit is mated to a five-speed gearbox and makes 11.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The power figures of the N125 are more in line with those of the NS125, but the new bike brings a better power-to-weight ratio owing to its lighter weight.

The Pulsar N125 is equipped with telescopic forks in the front and a rear monoshock. It rides on 17-inch alloys fitted with a 240 mm disc in the front and a 130 mm rear drum. The bike comes with a Combi-Braking System (CBS) as part of its safety net.

    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Fuel Efficiency

The ARAI-claimed mileage offered by the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is 58 kmpl. Real-world fuel economy figures may vary depending on road conditions and riding style.

    Safety Features

Safety remains a paramount concern in motorcycle design, and the Bajaj Pulsar N125 does not disappoint. While it lacks conventional ABS, it does come with CBS that enhances braking efficiency, particularly in emergency situations. The braking setup features a 240 mm disc in the front and a 130 mm drum brake in the rear, providing consistent stopping power. With its lightweight frame and solid suspension architecture featuring telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the rear, the N125 promotes stability and handling. Such features ensure riders maintain a controlled and secure ride, even on challenging road conditions.
