Toyota Innova Crysta 
 
The Toyota Innova Crysta received a new facelift version in the second half of 2020. The new model has a price increase of Rs. 60,000 on the base trims and Rs. 70,000 on the top trims when compared to the pre-facelift version. Connected features on the Toyota Innova Crysta include real-time car tracking, geo-fencing, and last parked location. The most significant change is the addition of a new touchscreen infotainment system that includes Smart PlayCast and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
 
 Looks and built: 
<ul>
<li>In the updated version, a revamped trapezoidal piano-black grille with Chrome Inserts is partially placed into the headlamps.</li>
<li>Also, the updated front bumper design with new fog lamp housing, and diamond-cut alloy wheels lend a modern look, are among the exterior improvements.</li>
</ul>
 Riding ergonomics: 
<ul>
<li>Ingress and egress are simple, and the middle-row seats' one-touch fall allows for reasonably easy access to the last row.</li>
<li>The front and centre rows (both bench and captain's chair) are both comfortable, and the third row can also be used.</li>
<li>With all seats up, there is adequate luggage capacity, and the option to fold seats to increase cargo room is also available.</li>
</ul>
 Engine and power: 
<ul>
<li>There are two engine options for the Toyota Innova Crysta.</li>
<li>A 2.8-liter gasoline engine and a 2.4-liter diesel engine are available.</li>
<li>The diesel engine's highest power output is 150 PS, with peak torque outputs of 343 Nm in the manual variant and 360 Nm in the automatic type.</li>
<li>The petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 166 horsepower and 245 Newton metres of peak torque.</li>
<li>This engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.</li>
</ul>
 Safety Features: 
<ul>
<li>The Innova Crysta is equipped with seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill Start Assist, among other features.</li>
<li>The new version includes front clearance sonar (with MID display) to avoid collisions when parking in tight areas.</li>
</ul>

Mahindra Thar 
 
Apart from the name, the first-generation of Thar bears little resemblance to the second-generation Thar. The Mahindra Thar 2020 is bigger, bolder, and better built, with plenty of off-road capabilities and numerous powertrain options. The new Thar receives a considerable overhaul with its revised design, interior, drivetrain, underpinnings, and features.
 
 Car Exteriors: 
<ul>
<li>The new Mahindra Thar has a stiffer tubular ladder chassis, and its body shell is a mix of mild and advanced high-strength steel that is lighter, but rigid. </li>
<li>Stabilizer bars in the front and back, as well as an integrated roll cage, offer torsional stiffness to the vehicle's frame.</li>
<li>The front grille, bonnet clips, door hinges, side steps, and body cladding have all undergone changes.</li>
<li>The Thar's rough, 4x4 appeal is enhanced by the 18-inch alloys, 255 mm all-terrain tyres (on the LX variant) and the full-sized tyre installed on the tailgate.</li>
<li>It comes with three roof options: a fixed soft-top, factory-installed hard-top, and a convertible soft-top.</li>

 Cabin comfort and interior: 
<ul>
<li>The redesigned centre console is sleek and functional, featuring manual AC controls, two USB ports, an AUX-in, and a charging port.</li>
<li>Audio, Bluetooth, and cruise control buttons are included on the new multi-function steering wheel.</li>
<li>The new instrument cluster features a digital Multi-Information Display flanked by analogue Tacho and speedometer.</li>
<li>The bucket seats are a significant upgrade over the previous Thar, providing more support and comfort.</li>
</ul>
 Engine and Speed: 
<ul>
<li>A second-generation 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with 130 hp and 300 Nm of torque, powers the new Thar (diesel version).</li>
<li>It produces 53 Nm more torque than previously, with maximum torque available at 1,600 rpm and continuing to 2,800 rpm.</li>
<li>The new Thar takes 13.36 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour.</li>
<li>A brand-new 2.0-litre turbo-charged direct-injection petrol engine, the first from the mStallion family powers the new Thar (petrol version), with power and torque outputs of 150 hp and 320 Nm, respectively.</li>
<li>In terms of performance, the petrol-automatic accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 10.20 seconds.</li>
</ul>
 Safety Features: 
 
ABS with EBD, dual airbags, ESP, hill-launch assist, hill-descent control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, tyre pressure monitor, and a roll cage are all standard safety features included in the new Thar.

Hyundai Verna 
The sixth-generation Hyundai Verna is a major step up from the previous version of the mid-size sedan and offers several key updates. Offered in four trim levels, the latest Verna sports radically updated looks on the outside, is significantly larger than the version it replaces, has several new or enhanced in-cabin features and has an extensive safety list which includes ADAS. There is no diesel engine on offer but apart from the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor, there is now a turbo petrol engine as well.
 
A wide LED light bar between the head lights is the main highlight of the new Hyundai Verna. The sedan stands on 16-inch alloy wheels and has seen a bump up in length and wheelbase. There are LED tail lights at the back and a number of optional accessories at additional prices. In the cabin, the Verna gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that is connected to the driver display and is in a curved format. The front seats offer cooling as well as heating functionality, there is wireless mobile charging, powered driver seat and powered sunroof, among many other highlights.
 
The 1.5-litre motor offers 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque while the turbo motor bumps up power to 156 hp and torque to 253 Nm. There are three transmission choices.
 
Verna is offered in five single-tone and two dual-tone exterior colour options. The cabin sports two colour options as well.

Tata Nexon 
 
Tata's Nexon is a stylish sub-four-meter small SUV. The Nexon is available in a variety of engine-gearbox configurations and can be acquired at a variety of price points. The Tata Nexon is the first Indian vehicle to receive a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP. The 2020 upgrade includes new aesthetics and BS6-spec engines.
 
Car Exteriors: 
<ul>
<li>The 2020 Tata Nexon receives a new grille, slimmer headlights, and a redesigned bumper with C-shape, surrounding the boxes and the integrated bull bar in the lower light cluster.</li>
<li>With a new bonnet, the tri-arrow design in the lower air intake adds a new touch.</li>
<li>The C-pillars on the 2020 Tata Nexon have been blacked and the name "Nexon '' is now written in chrome across the back.</li>
<li>The Union Jack-like tail lights also have a new design with the Nexon facelift featuring false vents at the bottom of the rear bumper to give it a larger appearance.</li>
</ul>
 Cabin comfort and interior: 
<ul>
<li>The newly crafted chrome-lined vents follow the design of the solid-looking dash with the free-standing screen in the centre.</li>
<li>The sleek, flat-bottomed steering wheel is new, and the instrument cluster now has a digital LCD panel with a tri-arrow motif.</li>
<li>The seats in the front are broad and at a reasonable height with the addition of the new sunroof.</li>
<li>Legroom is adequate, and the seat back has been lowered to provide additional headroom.</li>
<li>There is a 12-volt connection on the parcel shelf, and there is 350 litres of luggage capacity in the back, with the option to fold the seats for more space.</li>

 Engine and Speed: 
<ul>
<li>A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine powers Tata's best-selling SUV.</li>
<li>The three-cylinder engine gains 10 horsepower, bringing its maximum output to 120 horsepower.</li>
<li>Tata Motors has recently revised the BS6-compliant 110hp 1.5-litre diesel engine.</li>
<li>Both engines come with 6-speed manual or AMT automatic transmissions, and there's also an all-electric Tata Nexon EV.</li>
<li>Sport, City, and Eco are the three drive modes available on both engines.</li>
</ul>
 Safety Features: 
 
Tata Nexon has ISOFIX child seats, dual front airbags, and ABS with EBS as standard safety features. ESP, Traction Control, Roll Over Mitigation, Hill Hold Control, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Pre Fill, Brake Disc Wiping, rain sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system, and auto lighting are amongst its other safety features.

MG Comet EV MG Comet EV is the second all-electric vehicle from MG Motor India, after ZS EV. It is a compact, four-seat, two-door battery-powered car that is the smallest EV in India at present. The Comet EV gets a 17.3 kWh battery pack and has a single, rear-axle-mounted motor with a power output of 41 hp and peak torque of 110 Nm. It has a top speed of 100 kmph. The Comet EV gets three drive modes and comes in three single-tone and two dual-tone body colours. There are also body graphics available at additional cost. The cabin is done in a shade of grey and sports two 10.25-inch screens. Access to the rear seats is through a sliding front passenger seat. Comet EV is positioned as an urban mobility option for small families.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Maruti Suzuki Fronx was showcased for the first-time at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida. The Fronx is a compact SUV based on the Baleno hatchback and is a statement of intent from a company that is now betting big on the SUV body type. Fronx is under 4 meters in length which means it is eligible for tax benefits on such vehicles. But beyond its dimensions, Maruti Suzuki is betting on its young visual appeal and feature-rich cabin to strike a chord with urban buyers. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Price: Pricing for Maruti Suzuki Fronx is expected to start at around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to around Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Much like Jimny, Fronx will also be sold through the Nexa dealership chain of Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Features: Maruti Suzuki Fronx features a sporty and aerodynamic silhouette that gives it a muscular stance, as well as NEXWave grille, crystal block LED DRLs and a progressive roofline. In the cabin, the top-end Fronx gets push button to start/stop system, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, fast charging sockets, touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, heads-up display, 360-degree parking camera, wireless charger and connected technology. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Performance: To be offered in five variants-Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha, Maruti Suzuki Fronx will be powered by two engine options ? a K-Series petrol motor and a BoosterJet petrol engine.Maruti Suzuki Fronx Rivals: At its expected price point, Fronx is likely to rival a long list of car models across body types. Maruti Suzuki will take on the likes of Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon as well as Kia Seltos. It will also potentially take on siblings like Baleno and Brezza.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S E Performance is officially in India and is set to take the crown among the slew of AMG models available to buyers here. Its place of prominence is highlighted by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that offers 843 hp and a mammoth torque of 1,400 Nm. An electric motor sits on the rear axle and produces 201 hp. The AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the most-powerful in-production AMG model anywhere in the world and the car can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. A  4-door coupe, it gets multiple drive modes and is well kitted with performance-oriented features in the cabin.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny officially touched down in its five-door format in India at Auto Expo 2023. While the three-door version of Jimny has been on sale in several global markets, India is the first to get the five-door version which offers an enhanced wheelbase for more cabin space. A lifestyle-oriented vehicle, the Jimny SUV targets a younger car-buying audience.
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Price:
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The top and fully-loaded variant of Maruti Jimny could be at around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Features:
 
The Jimny five-door has been built on four essential ingredients - ladder frame chassis, ample body angles, three- link rigid axle suspension and ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) with low range transfer gear (4L mode). The vehicle claims to have the ability to chart all-terrains with ease and agility. In terms of design, Maruti Jimny has a boxy profile with circular head light units, vertical slat grille and large fenders. Maruti will offer Jimny in seven colour options ? five single-tone and two dual-tone. In the cabin, Maruti Jimny gets a 9-inch Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with HD display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The cabin also offers premium sound acoustic tuning through ?Surround Sense? powered by ARKAMYS.
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Performance:
 
Powering the Maruti Jimny is a K-series 1.5-litre engine with Idle Start Stop technology, which produces 2 77.1 kW power at 6000 rpm and offers 134.2 Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual as well as a four-speed automatic gearbox.
 
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Rivals:
 
Maruti Jimny locks horns against the Mahindra Thar. At its expected price point, it will have a straight-up battle against Mahindra Thar Rear-Wheel Drive. It will also take on the larger Force Gurkha SUV.
