The Galpin-Fisker Rocket : The Rocket was designed by Henrik Fisker, the same man that designed the Aston Martin DB9. And the new car, based on the current Ford Mustang is equally striking. Its shell is hand built almost entirely from carbon fiber and its look inspired by classic Mustangs from the 60s. However, under the hood things are bang up to date thanks to a supercharged V8 engine capable of outputting 725hp.

Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Tursimo (VGT) concept : This car is Chevrolet’s contribution to the Gran Turismo video game franchise, a concept car deigned literally for the PlayStation generation. It uses a battery-powered laser to go from 0-100km/h in 1.5 seconds and in the video game at least, has 900hp on tap and a 240mph (387km/h) top speed.

The Bentley Grand Convertible : The only thing that could make the Bentley Mulsanne any better than it already is, would be the removal of its roof. And for this year's show, that's exactly what Bentley has done. The hand-built drop top is a masterclass in craftsmanship and features the biggest single piece of walnut veneer ever hand shaped, cut, polished and fitted to a Bentley.
