Updated Tata Aria showcased at Geneva

Tata Motors, which maintained a low profile at this year's Geneva motor show, showcased a facelifted version of the Aria there.
The updated Aria features design tweaks like headlamps with black inserts and daytime running lights, new alloy wheels and new tail-lamp inserts. In addition to the cosmetic upgrades, the show car also featues an all-new six-speed automatic gearbox sourced from General Motors. The 'box is shared with some variants of the BMW X1 available in international markets.

Only 821 Arias were sold across the April 2012- January 2013 period compared to rival Mahindra selling around 38,000 units of its XUV500.
