Tata has a lot of exciting new products to unveil at the upcoming Auto Expo, which kicks off next week, but the mood within the company is sombre after the tragic and untimely death of the company's managing director, Karl Slym.
The formal unveil of the much awaited 'Falcon' siblings or the Bolt hatchback and the sub-four-metre saloon derivative will still go ahead as scheduled on February 3, 2014, with the president of Tata's passenger car business, Ranjit Yadav, pulling off the covers. However, the event is being reworked to keep it low key as a mark of respect for the company's deceased managing director. The manufacturer will also be showcasing the Jump SUV concept on February 5 and again, the unveiling ceremony is likely to be a subdued affair.
