Tata Nano gets facelift, turns pricier at Rs. 2.36 lakh
Tata Motors on Mon– day launched a new variant of the Nano, which boasts of an electric power steering and is priced Rs. 14,000 higher than the existing top-end model, in an attempt to revive sales of the world’s cheapest car.

The new Nano Twist is priced at ₹ 2.36 lakh exshowroom Delhi. It will come equipped with an electric power-assisted steering, which company officials claim will allow "hassle-free" driving in city traffic and "easy manoeuvring" in tight driving and parking conditions.

Besides, it will also come with additional features including a new purple colour, beige interiors, gearshift console, an instrument cluster with driver information system and a music system with Bluetooth.
All the new features will only be available on the new XT or extreme edition, which officials hope will contribute to 50% of Nano sales going ahead.
The company will continue to sell the earlier variants. The base version sells for ₹ 1.55 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
