Mercedes-Benz to launch SLK 55 AMG on December 2

Mercedes-Benz will launch the new SLK 55 AMG on December 2, 2013 in India.

The new SLK 55 AMG is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 engine that puts out 416bhp and 55kgm of torque. It comes mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic automatic transmission that has three driving modes - Controlled Efficiency (C), Sport (S) and Manual (M).

It completes the 0-100kph dash in a claimed 4.6 seconds and goes on to an electronically limited top speed of 250kph.

The new Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG will come with the usual enhancements like an AMG body kit, 18-inch AMG wheels and AMG sport seats, among others.
