MapmyIndia launches version 8.0 of maps

Digital maps, GPS navigation and location apps company, MapmyIndia, has announced the launch of version 8.0 maps of India, which will be included in all MapmyIndia navigation devices. The latest version of the maps now cover 10.33 million places, 1.9 million road kilometres, 600,000 villages, 4,787 cities at street level, 50 cities at house level and 46 cities in full 3D.

The navigation devices come with features such as 'Extended Lane Guidance', 'Junction Views', 'Sign Posts', 'Live Traffic', 'City Guides and Points of Interest', 'Regional Voice Guidance' and 'Regional Maps'.

MapmyIndia has collaborated with car manufacturers like BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen, Renault, Mitsubishi, GM, Ford, Tata, Mahindra and Maruti to offer navigation services in their cars.
