MapmyIndia launches GPS navigator for bikes

MapmyIndia – GPS devices, location apps and GIS solutions provider – has launched Trailblazer 2, a new GPS navigator designed for bikes. It comes with an 8.9-cm wide touchscreen and includes entertainment features like music, movies and photos on the go.

MapmyIndia - GPS devices, location apps and GIS solutions provider - has launched Trailblazer 2, a new GPS navigator designed for bikes. It comes with an 8.9-cm wide touchscreen and includes entertainment features like music, movies and photos on the go. Trailblazer 2 is pre-loaded with the company's Don't Panic software interface.

Trailblazer 2 is priced at 16,990 with no recurring usage charges and no dependence on internet or mobile network for navigation.

The device is charged through the bike battery and has a special clamp mount to keep it steady on the handlebar. One can listen to the MapmyIndia Trailblazer 2 voice instructions with any standard A2DP Bluetooth headset. All pillion riders can tune in to listen to directions from the unit as well.

Shivalik Prasad, executive director, MapmyIndia said, "The number of bikers has risen dramatically and therefore, we decided to launch Trailblazer 2. It addresses not just their daily travel needs but also allows them to seek new travel routes for their recreational road trips."
