The KTM 390 Duke's faired sibling, the sporty looking RC390 is all set for a global unveil at EICMA, coming up shortly in Milan, in the first week of Nov. The RC390 is a widely anticipated motorcycle that wraps the incredible performance of the 373cc motor with sharp sportsbike aesthetics, a combination sure to bump KTM's success story in India to a new level.

As seen on the KTM RC390 Cup bike, the RC390 is expected to wear a sharply styled fairing and revised body panels, from tank to tail. The sportsbike will also adopt clip-on handlebars that create a more committed, aggressive and weight forward riding position. The footrests will also be moved inward to create a tighter, better connected experience for the rider. However, KTM is unlikely to tweak the 373.2cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine's power delivery. Even gearing is likely to be carried over as is presently in use the 390 Duke, nonetheless, the Duke's 43.5bhp of power being ample.

The RC390 will carry over other 390 Duke hardware too. Flaming orange frame sections will be on display as this sweeps upwards to the rear. WP upside down telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock will also be more than game for their sportsbike duties here. Radial mounted, four-piston caliper disc brakes with Bosch ABS shall complete the package. We expect the RC390 to make its way here into India around the first half of 2014.
