Kia unveils compact and sporty coupe concept at NAIAS


The South Korean car maker has presented the GT4 Stinger, an impressive sports car concept with 315hp, in a world premiere at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
The Kia GT4 Stinger is powered by a four-cylinder 2.0L turbo fuel engine with 315hp, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. With its 20-inch wheels and carbon fiber spokes, Brembo GT brake calipers and rear double-wishbone suspension, this is one of the most aggressive concepts Kia has ever produced. On the inside, four individual bucket seats further enhance the coupe's sporty feel.

Created at the Kia Motors design studio in Irvine, California, where the brand's iconic Track'ster and Cross GT concepts were developed, the GT4 Stinger could eventually lend its design to a compact sports car destined for the North American market.
The GT4 Stinger will be on display at Kia's stand at NAIAS, which opens to the public January 18-26, 2014 in Detroit.
