Hyundai rolls out 5 millionth car

Korean carmaker Hyundai, which has completed 15 years of presence in India in 2013, marked another important milestone, rolling out its 5 millionth car here from its manufacturing facility in Irrungattukottai near Chennai.

Brand ambassador Shahrukh Khan was present to celebrate the occasion.

Hyundai has invested over ₹ 16,568.55 crore in the Indian market and has a combined production capacity of 6.8 lakh cars in the Indian market, since its entry in 1998.
