Honda’s CBF Stunner loses fuel injection

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have decided to rid the CBF Stunner PGM-FI of its fuel injection, and have now made it available only in a carburetted variant. The reason behind this is mostly due to the vast difference in the price tag of the two variants, with the PGM-FI variant being priced at ₹65,845 and the carburetted variant priced at ₹56,348 (ex-showroom, Delhi) without any differences in styling or performance.
This motorcycle houses a 124.7cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that generates 11bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 1.12kgm at 6500rpm. The fuel-injected CBF Stunner was also more expensive than the CB Unicorn, which is priced at ₹64,002 (ex-showroom, Delhi), causing a further slump in demand and stagnating inventories for this variant.
