Honda announces bike line-up for Expo

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India's display at the upcoming Expo is touted to be the largest among two-wheeler manufacturers and will be designed around the theme 'Technology meets emotion' and will highlight the company's diversity through seven distinctive products. The largest bike at the pavilion will be the renowned Goldwing tourer. Colossal and luxurious, the Goldwing is also a technological showcase for the bike maker. The Goldwing debuted two-wheeler airbags in 2006 and the bike even comes with a reverse gear!
The manufacturer will also have the attractive CBR650F sports-tourer on show. Shown only recently at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, the CBR650F features a 649cc, in-line four-cylinder engine with power in the region of 87bhp. Also on display will be the CBR500R that is a fully-faired, entry level sports bike. It looks like a junior Fireblade and comes with adequate firepower too - a 471cc, parallel-twin engine. It will also have its PCX 125 scooter on display that comes with fuel-saving automatic start-stop mode as well as smart navigation technology.

The company is yet to announce which, if any, of these bikes will go on sale in India. However, Honda's big launch at the Expo will be a new 125cc scooter that will go on sale shortly after the event. The display will also include a concept that previews a future, possibly 125cc motorcycle offering. MotoGP fans should also add the Honda pavilion to their list of must-sees because Marc Marquez's 2013 championship-winning RC213V bike will be there in all its glory.
The action will not be limited to the static display alone. the bike major will also have an outdoor section where visitors will get a chance to experience its all-terrain vehicles or ATVs, which will be flown in for the event.
