Georgia May Jagger is the new face of the Mercedes-Benz GLA

The rock and roll daughter of Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger has starred in a new campaign for the German automobile maker.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a surreal new campaign presenting the new Mercedes-Benz GLA, starring Georgia May Jagger and shot by renowned fashion photographer Serge Leblon and directed by David Carette.

With the tagline, 'Always restless,' the two-minute clip sees Jagger lazing on a sunroof in a dark, neon-lit cityscape with a couple of pals, before deciding to get a move on; 'Let's go somewhere else,' says the model daughter of Sir Mick and Texan fashion legend Jerry Hall.

Fashion editor Nicoletta Santoro dressed the stars of the film, and put Georgia in a stunning palm-print mini skirt worn underneath a clear perspex coat with a pair of silver heels shining like the metallic car.

Of course you have to wait until the end for the surrealist touch provided by the giant panda in the driving seat, but we think it's a fun touch. Previous Mercedes-Benz campaigns have featured supermodels Joan Smalls (who was shot by Mario Testino) and Karlie Kloss.

The GLA, the latest compact crossover from Mercedes was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year and is slated to hit dealerships from spring 2014.
