It is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered.'

The company is keeping tight-lipped about exactly what to expect but as both the hardtop and convertible versions of the Stingray are designed on the same platform, Chevrolet is promising that the car's performance and drama will not be diluted by the removal of its roof. The hotly anticipated open-top supercar will make its first public appearance on Mach 7 when doors open to the 83rd international Geneva Motor show in Switzerland.
