Bugatti channels spirit of Type 37A for latest limited-edition Veyron supercar
Capable of a top speed of 255mph (410 km/h), or 235mph (378 km/h) with the roof down, the Bugatti combines the ultimate in automotive performance and exclusivity.
Bugatti is officially unveiling the strictly limited edition Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse at the Qatar Motorshow in Doha (January 29-February 2). Comfortably the world's fastest convertible road car, it features a unique Bianco and New Light Blue color scheme, inspired by the 1927 Bugatti Type 37A, the legendary grand prix car that now belongs to American chat show host, automotive enthusiast and avid collector Jay Leno.

To those that love cars, the Bugatti Veyron, in all its guises, represents the pinnacle of automotive technology, engineering know-how and performance. For others it represents a collection of ever-increasing figures -- 16.4 litres, 1,200bhp, 255mph and £2 million (US$3.15 million): its asking price. However, the most important number is 'one'. This is an edition of the world-record-setting supercar limited to a single example. And as such, though it makes its official debut this week, it has already been sold to an anonymous client.
