The K 1600 GTL Exclusive is powered by a 1649cc in-line six-cylinder engine with output of 160hp, allowing it to easily reach a top speed of 200km/h and to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds. Drivers can choose between three riding modes ('Rain', 'Road' and 'Dynamic').
BMW has also equipped this luxury grand tourer with an adaptive xenon headlight, an LED daytime running light and LED signal lights, as well as a high-tech radio antenna embedded directly into the lid of the topcase, a world first. The panels hiding the fuel tank are made of aluminum, and the exhaust pipe is fully chromed.
For a more comfortable ride for the grand touring motorcycle's pillion passenger, BMW has designed a new, wider seat, complete with armrests and a heated backrest. Additional features that make this Exclusive edition more luxurious include an expanded range of accessories, such as additional luggage and interior bags for the topcase. Riders will also enjoy a complete audio system including an interface for controlling iPod, MP3 and satellite radio devices through a USB port or Bluetooth.
