All that's missing from the custom-built homage are the side-mounted, pop-up Browning machine guns, but all of the other details, from the sliding canopy to the jet afterburner are all present and correct.

Ok, the asking price is in Ferrari territory, but this car will still be turning heads in 10 years' time, after the Ferrari has passed its sell-by date.
Created for promotional purposes, the car is constructed on a bespoke chassis and is powered by a 3.2-liter straight-six engine lifted out of a Jaguar.
What's more, it has automatic transmission so that it's perfect for cruising and for soaking in the admiring glances it will no doubt receive. As with the film car -- driven by Michael Keaton's Batman in 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns' -- on which it is based, it has remote ignition and a fully automated, sliding electrically-operated top.
It also has a smoke release system for making a concealed getaway, a flamethrower for self-defense and, thanks to hydraulic suspension, ground clearance can be increased by up to 22cm for negotiating speed bumps and other obstacles.
The car is one of 128 vehicular lots that will go under the hammer at Historics at Brooklands' winter auction venue, Mercedes-Benz World, near Weybridge, Surrey on Saturday, November 30.
