On January 6, ahead of Autosport International in Birmingham, England, the British manufacturer Ariel will present the Nomad, its new high-performance dune buggy.

According to Autocar, the two-seater weighs in at around 700kg and packs a 2.4-liter Honda engine with 200hp. An off-road version of the Atom, the Nomad has a similarly sporty appearance thanks to its bare space frame chassis. Ariel has added several elements that set the dune buggy apart, including a strong brush guard and a sturdy roll cage. The first Ariel Nomad buggies are slated to ship in summer 2015.
