The teaser indicates new design patterns for the next generation XUV500. The futuristic design include a triple LED headlights as well as DRLs. At the centre of the grille is the logo illuminated in blue fluorescent colour flanked by three vertical slats on either side.

The bonnet and the side profile of the car gets a more masculine design, complemented well by large alloy wheels. The taillights also extend to the edge of the fender in the rear.

The new generation XUV500 is likely to get both 5-seater and 7-seater options. Details of its powertrain and interior are not confirmed yet.

The new Mahindra XUV500 is part of the company's electric line-up at this year's Auto Expo. The company will also showcase its other flagship SUV products like the XUV300 and KUV100 in their electric avatars.

Mahindra will also showcase new futuristic concept, production ready electric vehicles and solutions. Mahindra claims this is one of the widest ranges of EVs displayed by an Indian automaker at this year’s Auto Expo.

Mahindra & Mahindra will showcase its cars at the Mahindra pavilion in hall number 10 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
