August 2026 car discounts from Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai, Kia and Honda

Car manufacturers are offering a range of discounts and purchase benefits in August 2026, with the Tata Harrier EV and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid among the models with the highest potential savings. Depending on eligibility, buyers can access benefits worth several lakh rupees through a combination of road-tax savings, exchange bonuses, scrappage incentives, loyalty schemes and other offers. However, most benefits are conditional and the final amount can vary by variant, customer eligibility, dealership and location.

Tata August offers

The Tata Harrier EV has the most substantial package among the models covered here. It gets a Freedom Celebration offer of up to ₹1 lakh, along with a ₹50,000 exchange benefit and ₹75,000 scrappage discount. Existing Tata EV owners can also receive a loyalty benefit of up to ₹1 lakh, while Tata ICE owners are eligible for up to ₹50,000. For an eligible Tata EV owner meeting all conditions, the specified benefits can total up to ₹3.25 lakh.

The regular Harrier and Safari get a ₹10,000 cash discount, ₹25,000 exchange benefit and ₹35,000 scrappage discount. The Sierra gets a ₹30,000 scrappage discount, with an additional loyalty discount available on the ICE version. The Sierra EV has no offer apart from the stated scrappage discount.

Maruti Suzuki August offers

The Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid also has a sizeable package. Buyers can benefit from zero road tax worth up to ₹1.85 lakh, a five-year warranty, exchange benefits ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹75,000, a ₹45,000 scrappage bonus, a ₹30,000 upgrade bonus on select old cars and ₹10,000 in corporate benefits.

The Smart Hybrid 4x2 version gets variant-specific cash benefits of up to ₹35,000. Exchange bonuses range from ₹15,000 to ₹55,000, while scrappage and corporate benefits are worth ₹25,000 and ₹20,000 respectively. Select Zeta and Alpha variants also receive a five-year warranty with the applicable cash benefit.

The Baleno gets ₹5,000 cash on petrol variants, while CNG versions have no cash discount. Exchange benefits range from ₹10,000 to ₹25,000, with another ₹10,000 available through scrappage. The Wagon R gets ₹25,000 cash, ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 on exchange, ₹10,000 for scrappage and ₹2,500 in corporate benefits.

Hyundai August offers

Hyundai's offers include a ₹5,000 scrappage bonus for the Venue and N Line. The Verna gets up to ₹40,000 cash, with either ₹25,000 scrappage or ₹20,000 exchange benefits. The Creta gets up to ₹50,000 cash and another ₹50,000 through scrappage. The Creta Electric gets ₹15,000 cash, plus either ₹35,000 scrappage or ₹15,000 exchange benefits.

Kia August offers

Kia's Sonet gets up to ₹60,000 in specified cash, exchange, scrappage and corporate benefits, while the Syros offers up to ₹65,000 through similar schemes, alongside an extended warranty and dealer-end offers. The Seltos gets ₹20,000 loyalty and ₹20,000 corporate benefits, plus dealer-end offers.

Honda August offers

Honda's City facelift gets ₹30,000 cash, ₹50,000 exchange benefits, loyalty offers and a ₹5,000 corporate discount.
